Parker, CO: Thursday, February 5, 2009 - FinFolio today announced it has hired Tom Van Horn to set up and run the FinFolio operations group. As FinFolio's Senior Vice President of Operations, Mr. Van Horn will direct all the FinFolio technical support and professional service efforts. He will be responsible for staffing the department, managing the FinFolio software release, and providing ongoing support to FinFolio users.

Before FinFolio, Tom was the Operations Manager and Chief Compliance Officer for Alexander Capital Management Group,  a large Denver-based investment advisor subsidiary owned by CoBiz Financial, Inc. (COBZ).  Oversight included back-office operations, trading, client service, IT systems and the day to day operations and regulatory compliance of the firm.  Prior to that, Tom was responsible for systems evaluation, selection, integration and implementation for trust, investment, mortgage and retail banking entities of a large Arizona-based financial services company.

Tom has made a career of designing and implementing scalable IT solutions for the investment industry.  He founded the InData Independent Users Group which allowed RIA’s to leverage practice management knowledge collaboratively across firms.  "I've always been a champion for users and ensured they had a proper voice in the direction and enhancements of their core systems," said Van Horn.
